“MOM COME HERE I NEED YOU!”

“What?!”

“What’s your favorite color?”

*sigh* “That’s what I raced in here for?! *sigh* Um, I don’t know, I like lots of colors, it depends…”

“But what’s your favorite color?”

“I like yellow sometimes, and I wear a lot of red, I really like patterns…”

“But what is your favorite?”

“Orange. It’s orange.”

“Are you sure?”

grumble grumble “Yes. I like orange better than any other color in the world. What’s your favorite color?”

“Oh, I don’t have one.”

We fans of orange are in luck this spring. The fashion powers-that-be have announced that a really fun shade of tangerine is the HOT color this season (and this year, apparently). I do actually love orange and have a bunch of accessories and a delightful orange skirt (which may soon become the subject of an alteration post), but I really want to acquire the perfect orange top. I even have some ideas for how I’d wear it. It’s surprisingly hard to find, though! Especially if I don’t want to spend a mortgage payment on one.
